I've always love Taiwanese potstickers, and the ones here tasted just like the ones in taiwan. Unlike most of the potstickers else, the wraps of Taiwanese ones are thinner. They were steamed and pan fried just right, so yummy and crunchy. Love how they have combos, so you can get dumplings/potstickers/noodles with soup/drinks. This store is mostly self served, got our number called relatively fast. Everything we tried including the signature potstickers, corn chowder and hot and sour soup were so good. Will definitely come back whenever we are in the area.

Great chicken and corn dumplings, although everything else was alright. Definitely buying a bag of dumplings next time, worth it.

So many Taiwanese eateries popping up in the South Bay! This is a late review but better late than never. Bafang Dumpling is from Taiwan and you know it's legit when my mom's friends are excited about the food. We've been a couple of times and have ordered the beef noodle soup both times and it's delicious. My daughter loves the signature dumplings. I love spicy wontons in general and ten to order it whenever I see it on the menu and these did not disappoint. Am I ready to try the other items on the menu? Yes. Am I excited about the new Torrance location? Absolutely. Another review will be coming up soon

Food was decent here. I got the Dumpling combo which let me have 4 of each of their Dumpling flavors. I was hoping for more flavor. Nothing spectacular here, but still an okay meal if you like light flavor. They had multiple sauces that were also light on the flavor. I may need to try their Potstickers to see if having it fried makes a flavor difference. The Hot and Sour Soup had lots of ingredients and they didn't skimp on them. Like the dumplings, there wasn't as much flavor here as I'd expect. Both items had a good amount of food for the serving. Parking is easy as it is located on the non-busy side of a shopping complex. Service was mediocre. When I was asking about their options, the servers weren't really making it seem like they believed in their own product. There was a subtle indifference in my interaction. The restaurant was clean with lots of seating. Not sure if I would go back for what I ordered, but I may still give those Potstickers a try.

Potstickers and dumplings from Taiwan?! Yes please! Bafang Dumpling is such a great addition to Gardena! There's really not other place that sells potstickers and dumplings like this in the area (you'd probably have to go all the way to the 626 area to get anything like this), so it definitely creates some diversity in the South Bay's food scene! They are most known for their potstickers and dumplings. You can order in 6 or 12 pieces. Both potstickers and dumplings come in three different types: Signature, Kimchi and Pork, and Corn and Chicken. The potstickers have that nice crispy side, while their dumplings are steamed. They also have some dry noodle dishes and beef noodle soup. I really like their Signature Noodles! Good flavor and better than their Old Fashioned Noodles (a bit bland), in my opinion. They also have fried pork chop and chili pepper fried chicken. I really like that they have a variety of combos, so you can get two different food items for your meal. It makes ordering easier too! They have lots of seating, but it can get pretty crowded during peak meal times. You order at the counter, and you can grab some of their cold appetizers from the open refrigerator to add onto your meal. They will give you a pager, and when it goes off, you pick up your food at the counter. If you're curious how the potstickers and dumplings are made, they have a window area that you can peek inside and check it out! Bafang Dumpling is located in Gardena Marketplace. The side Bafang is on has a smaller parking lot, but there is ample parking in the larger shopping plaza parking lot if the small one fills up.

For a Saturday rainy dinner, it was busy! Not too busy as there was still available seating. It's definitely a fast casual spot with lots of clean seating. The parking lot gets crowded because of the Panda Express and Shin-Sen-Gumi but we've always been able to park close by. I gave this place 4 stars because of the AFFORDABLE PRICE! I got the #6 to try all three different steamed dumplings (4 of each) and it came with either hot and sour soup, clam chowder, or black tea. That's 12 dumplings and a large soup for $13.50! The FOOD itself was closer to 3 STARS. I liked the kimchi dumplings the most, it was like medium spicy level. The signature dumplings were my second favorite, they were good but I've definitely had better. My least favorite were the dumplings with corn/cabbage/pork. For the price, I'll come back to try the rest of the menu.

We tried all of their signature dishes - signature potstickers, dumplings, noodles, kimchi potstickers, chili garlic wontons and braided beef noodle soup. I think in terms of food, my opinion might be based on the fact that i don't know Taiwanese food very well. We liked the signature potstickers the most and didn't love the others.. signature noodles tasted sesame based, thick and bit spicy. Braised beef noodle soup broth was nice but the meat could have been softer. Service was very good. They gave us wrong potstickers so they let us eat what we had and immediately made us the right potstickers. Place is clean with lots of seating. I like that everything comes out in to-go containers so it's easy to take leftovers home. Parking was bit tough on a Sunday evening probably because of Shin sen gumi next door.. Not sure if we'll try again but glad that we tried this time!!!

The combos are more than enough. Came in on Friday and used the kiosk to order. I didn't have to wait in the line. But I totally missed the sides at the front. I guess that's one of the cons of the kiosk. For 12-14 dollars you get a whole box of potstickers and a soup or drink. I felt it was a good deal. It's a lot of food. The potstickers were fresh, tasty and easy to consume. I mixed the soy sauce and vinegar to dip. Lots of tables to enjoy your food. The only issue I had here was finding parking. The whole lot was full and the only ones available were marked for 15 min. Other than that, I will be back.
